How do I Mend A Broken Relationship with my cousin?
My cousin and I were best friends. I mean we did everything together. We shared things with each other that I would have never shared with any of my other “best friends.” But, about a year and a half ago we ran into my childhood crush. I have known this boy since I was 7 and I hadn’t seen him for about 8 years. So I introduced him to my cousin. Right away she was really into him. Long story short, one night they got drunk and slept together. I found out later that he wanted to be with me the whole time. Shortly after I started dating him. Me and my him have been together now for over a year. He has given me a promise ring and I could not be happier! Problem is, my cousin still won’t talk to me! I recently found out that my grandma has been diagnosed with cancer. She too is upset about me and my cousin not talking. I feel like it is up to me to mend things between us for my grandmother. I have e-mailed my couisn twice, still, no answer. I don’t know what to do anymore…
Call her on the phone or stop by her house. It’s more likely you’ll get a chance to talk to her that way. Stopping by might be your best bet.
